After documenting the rise of fascism and racism across Europe for a number of years. Eventually, in 2024 the project came full circle, to the streets of North East England that I grew up on. After witnessing and experiencing extreme violence in my hometown of Hartlepool and the wider region, I began keeping a diary and writing letters as a way to cope with what was and still is a real threat. In this video I compile archival footage of South Asia, footage of the 2024 race riots and Audio of my diary recital.
